I was the scrawny kid on the block who didn't weigh 100 pounds until I was 15. I fell in love with the weight room, played college football, and earned an internship coaching strength and conditioning at Towson. That was my introduction to real programming and what a high standard of care actually looks like.
From there I ran group fitness classes at boutique studios, spent time coaching at a boxing gym, and moved up to private training at a high-end facility in Tysons Corner. I then stepped into a Director and Head Trainer role at a sports performance company. Every environment raised the bar. Every client taught me something the textbooks couldn't.

My own athletic career came with injuries, imbalances, and warning signs I ignored because I didn't know better. That turned into an obsession with understanding the body so I can protect my clients from the lessons that cost me.
When Taelor and I built Untapped Potential Performance, we brought that entire career into the room with us. The work has taken me from first-time gym-goers to NFL players, senior military officials, and C-suite executives. Every one of them receives the same standard of programming and the same level of attention. That will never change.

- Evaluation before programming. Every body is different.
- Teaching, not just programming. You should understand why.
- Process over results. Build the habits; the results follow.
- Injury prevention is performance work. Not a separate track.
- Consistency over intensity. Showing up imperfectly every week will always beat burning out chasing a perfect program.

I have been an athlete since I could walk. Gymnastics, lacrosse, four years of competitive cheerleading in college. After the transition from collegiate athlete to a 9-to-5 desk job, I gained 50 pounds and stopped recognizing my own body. The year I lost it back was the year I found my calling.
I have coached through COVID living-room workouts, a running journey, building muscle in the gym, and two pregnancies with two C-sections. That range is the point. Most of the people I coach have been somewhere between “haven't trained in years” and “training a body I don't recognize.” I have been in both.
Particularly with women and moms, I lead with the truth of having lived it. Our nutrition coaching teaches the why behind every recommendation, not just the what, because clients who understand what they are doing are clients who can eventually do it without me.
